What a house costs in Patagonia and what to check before renting
Listings are few, some "permanent" ones are actually seasonal, and a cheap house is often cheaper precisely because it has no gas or fibre optic. The benchmarks by town come from active listings at the end of August 2026.
Long-term rent by town
From the cheapest to the most expensive. This is a sample of listings, not the market median:
A house with network gas and water, 1–2 bedrooms, per month (August 2026). The cheapest of the markets checked, but the cheap housing means small wooden houses.
